The all-new 2022 Hyundai Kona has an updated look!
This is the biggest makeover since it came out in 2018. On the exterior we see a bolder face and longer profile, making it sharper and sleeker.
Each trim will have a 147hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, although the Limited and N Line trims will have a turbocharged 195hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. It also has a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
On the exterior there is a roof spoiler and low beam bulb with projector beam lens halogen headlights. There are also LED daytime running lights. Intermittent windshield wipers are present and the vehicle sits on top of 16" alloy wheels.
Interior changes are minimal, but we do see a new center stack and ambient lighting. You will see upholstery cloth for the seats, which are also split folding in the rear. The driver and passenger both have bucket seats and there is a tilt telescoping steering wheel. The 60/40 split fold-down rear seats provide extra cargo space and come standard.
The new Kona is full of innovative technology. You can use your Smartphone to remote unlock/lock doors and start/stop your engine. For infotainment there are 6-speakers and steering wheel mounted audio controls.
Standard features are an 8-inch touch screen and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. A digital instrument panel is available, as well as a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen. Apps can also be accessed through the text to speech/speech to text feature.
For your convenience there is a remote control trunk/hatch release. Cruise control is also available as well as headlight control with a dusk sensor. Enjoy remote power locks and automatic locking, too.

Driver assistance features have been updated with adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and rear automatic braking. There is also a LATCH system, Hill Holder Hill Start Assist Control, Anti Collision System, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Assistance, and more. Torque vectoring is present as well.
